South Hopkins Middle School

The 8th Grade Girls improved to 9-1 with a 51-8 win over James Madison.  Amelia Smith had 22 points, Leah Burton 17 and Karoline Riddle added 12. The 7th Grade Girls improved to 8-0 with a hard fought 18-15 win over James Madison.  James Madison took a 15-13 lead with 2 minutes to go.  The Lady Wildcats came down and score when Lorelai Sailing scored on an assist from Emmy Scott to tie the game at 15-15.  On the very next possession Molly Cotton was fouled and hit one of 2 free throws to put the Lady Wildcats in front 16-15.  On the next possession, the Lady Wildcats again were able to get the ball into Lorelai Sailing and she finished off the scoring and the 18-15 win. Loreali Sailing and Leah Burton had 5 points apiece, Emmy Scott had 3, Jakayah Burt and Kate Riddle had 2 each and Molly Cotton added 1 point Middle School vs James Madison Middle School (51 - 8) Win
