South Hopkins Middle School

The 8th grade girls improved to 13-2 and sole possession of first place in the WKAC with a 40-23 win over Henderson North. Amelia Smith led the way with 19 points. Leah Burton had 10, Karoline Riddle added 5, Jasmine Tandy 4, and Tinley Paxton had 2. The girls led by Jakayah Burt played some super defense to pull out the win. The 7th grade girls lost a close one 25-21 for their first loss of season. They are now 12-1. Leah Burton had 9, Kate Riddle had 5,Jakayah Burt 3, Lorelai Sailing 2, Emmy Scott and Molly Cotton had 1 each.
