South Hopkins Middle School

Our 7th grade girls have reached the finals of the WKAC Tournament with a 31-9 win over Union Co. The girls played outstanding defense shutting out Union Co in the 1st and 3rd quarter and only allowed 2 total points in the second half. Leah Burton lead the scoring with 10 points, Emery Scott had 8, Kate Riddle added 4, Jakaya Burt had 3, and Molly Cotton, Delaney Hight and Ann-Michael Riddle added 2 each. The 7th grade improved to 17-1 and will play Henderson North on Thursday @ James Madison in the Championship game.
